WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

For the non-bike park events, including RIDE-A-LONG WEEKENDS, BIG RIDEVENTURE EXCURSIONS and the ANNUAL RIDEVENTURE SPECIAL EVENT, our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Full refund less a $5 cancellation fee with 21 days or greater notice prior to the event.

  • 50% refund with notice given between 7 and 21 days prior to the event.

  • No refunds will be given within 7 days prior to event.

For the mountain bike park EPIC TRAIL PASS, the cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

  • In accordance with our partner bike parks, all sales final. No refunds will be given for any reason, including weather, terrain, or injury.

WHAT ARE THE RAIN DATES?

In the event that a scheduled non-bike park event, including RIDE-A-LONG WEEKENDS, BIG RIDEVENTURE EXCURSIONS and the ANNUAL RIDEVENTURE SPECIAL EVENT, is impacted by inclement weather, we have recommended back-up dates to ensure everyone has an opportunity to ride. The rain date will take effect if inclement weather results in a closure of the bike park or trails on the originally scheduled dates.

  • If the destination is only closed for one of the two days, we will offer a 50% refund.

  • If both the original dates and rain dates are impacted by inclement weather causing closure of the destination or trails, we will provide a full refund less a $5 cancellation fee.

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?

Yes. All riders are required to sign our industry standard release of liability waiver. Participants under the age of 19 are required to have a parent/guardian sign for them. You can read the waiver here.

Additionally, location/bike park specific waivers will be required prior to/at the start of a bike park event. Those waivers will be provided to attendees participating in those specific events.

CAN I RENT A BIKE OR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT OR MUST I BRING MY OWN?

If you’re looking to rent a bike or protective equipment for the mountain biking event, simply select the option in the cart for checkout. Rates and discounts are applied for those who are looking to rent a bike or protective gear or both.

We’ll align with you in advance to confirm your size and equipment needs, and have those items reserved and available for you to use at the park.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

For more information on what to bring, check out the What to Bring Checklist in our options menu.

HOW CHALLENGING ARE THE TRAILS AND HOW FIT SHOULD I BE?

The various riding locations and bike parks vary in difficulty from beginner level to technical expert trails. Our goal is to match you with the trails that best fit your riding style, comfort and skill level. Simply tell us a little about yourself and riding experience and we will recommend the perfect ride for you!

Please note, some locations and bike parks contain very challenging terrain, trails and trail features. When planning a ride with us, please be reasonable and realistic about the skill levels of everyone in your group.

Want to learn more about identifying your skill & fitness levels? Take a look at our guide “Understanding Your Skill & Fitness Levels” - each range of levels and skills will be noted within the specific event details.

WHAT IF I AM RIDING SOLO?

That’s awesome! We completely understand how challenging it can be to coordinate with friends who ride to take mountain biking trips. We are here for you! Please join us, bring your sense of adventure and make some new riding friends!

Pricing is shown per rider, so if you are bringing more friends, pass along the information for them to sign-up too!

IS HOTEL OR TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGES?

For both current levels of mountain bike tours (Ride Along Weekends & Big RIDEVenture Events), we do not include ground transportation or hotel accommodations.

  • Please contact us if you would like recommendations on ground transportation or hotels in advance of joining us for a riding event.

DO REPEAT CUSTOMERS GET A DISCOUNT FOR COMING BACK?

Of course! We love familiar faces and welcome everyone to come back and join us again and again. The ride calendar will change year over year, so there will always be something new and different to explore with us. As a way to say thank you, we will provide repeat customers with a discount code to save on their next adventure with us (discount good for up to one year from your first trek).

ARE ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKES PERMITTED?

In most cases - yes. Each bike park and trail destination has their own rules regarding the growing industry of e-MTB, we are doing our part to keep you informed as more places provide access.

With many downhill and gravity bike parks, please ride what you are comfortable with. If you generally ride a lightweight analog bike, we would not recommend renting and test-riding a heavy e-MTB. The riding style is different and could put you and others at risk on the trails.
